I went to Tokyo last weekend.
On Friday, before I got on Shinkansen, I mailed Tsuru-chan to tell bad news.
She lives in Nagoya, so we always meet on Shinkansen.
But her response was terrible. She said she had already been in Tokyo because of business trip. She said she had mailed me, but I haven’t received that mail. I had to cancel her Shinkansen.
Anyway, I arrived at Tokyo and met her at a hotel.
I booked Mercure Hotel Ginza Tokyo. Its location is very convenient.
Yurakucho Station is about 5 minutes on foot. And Teikoku Theater and antique shops are close to that hotel.
Just after we met, we went to see antique.
She and I love antique, and there is a building, which has many antique shops, close to the hotel.
First, we saw silver tableware. Silver is really beautiful, and if you rub it, it’s shining more and more.
They had some tea pots. They were really beautiful but even the cheapest one was 150,000yen. Of course we couldn’t buy them.
However, we asked a lot of questions to a clerk, and she told us much information. We learned a lot.
Afterwards, we stopped at any shops and stared at my ceramics.
There is a café in that building. That café uses beautiful antique cup and saucer.
Of course, we took a break there.
Many cups were very pretty. I was really happy to stay there.
We enjoyed not only coffee but also beautiful ceramics.
I wanted to buy a tea cup of Japanese tea ceremony.
Luckily, Tsuru-chan gave me back 30,000yen, so I could buy a beautiful cup. I cannot tell you the price of that cup…
