A NEW TEXT BOOK

(2011-12-30)
A Chinese text book which I am learning now has almost done.

I bought a new text book a couple of weeks ago.
My teacher recommended that book, and I ordered it on Rakuten website.
The text book was sent from China.
Acorrding to my teacher, that book was published for a oversea students.
So, there is no Japanese word on the book!!!
Many many Chinese and a little English!!!

Chinese words explain in Chinese.
It is like a Chinese-Chinese dictionary.

In addition to this, there is no ping-ing.
It means I have to read Chinese characters without phonetic signs.

I can see a very tall wall in front of me…

I have to study harder and harder….

Do you know Mr. Yamagami Tatuhiko?
He used to be a very famous comic writer.
Many people have read GAKIDEKA, right?
I like his comics and I still have his several books.

Now, he doesn't write comics.
But he writes novels!!!
I have read his novels, too.
His novels were really like his comic books.
While I read his books, I could see some characters, like Abe-sensei or Saijyo-kin.
His novels were really funny.

But, this time the book which I read was completely different.
The story is about a murder.
It seems like a typical thriller.
But it is not like that.
When the story starts, any readers know who the murder is.
He has already got back from the jail.
And he has already passed away.

A daughter of the murder looks for a guy.
According to her mother, that guy helped her family a lot, because when he was in a jail, her father helped him.
She asked to a detective to find him.

The detective looks for the guy.
While he is looking for him, he finds a strange relationship between the murder and a victim..

I always think Mr. Yamagami Tatsuhiko is giftedness.
And I felt certain, this time.
I want to real his novels more…

How many Bounenkai do/did you have this year?
I don’t have too many.

However, I had a small Bounenkai yesterday.

Last weekend, one of my co-workers, Kokeshi-Girl, asked me to go to Bounenkai.
I said, “Of course!!!”.

She knows many good restaurants, and we went to one of them.

It was a Tempura restaurant, Suke.

It was bigger than I thought.
They have about 10 tables on the first floor and they also have a big two rooms for a party on the second floor.

First of all, we ordered several Tempuras.
According to Kokeshi-Girl, their secularity is ‘Tempura of avocado and the cream cheese’.
We ordered that one, Sillago, pickled ginger, and eggplant.
Of course, all of them were Tempura.

They also had good Japanese Sake.
We stared at a liquor menu, and decided what we would order.

We talked about the latest topics.
We complained about our co-workers, talked about our hobbies, and so on.

The Tempura was really good.
I think ‘avocado and the cream cheese’ is really good for wine. But the other Tempuras are good for Japanese Sake.

Afterwards, we ordered ‘cooked shellfish’, ‘cooked sea bream berry’, and Caesar('s) salad.
Their Caesar(‘s) salad was very delicious. I don’t know why…
We thought that the combination of the dressing and boiled egg were good.

Kokeshi-Girl ordered Zaru Soba.
She said Onihihei(TV character) always drank Sake with Zaru Soba.

We sprinkled salt on Zaru Soba.
I couldn’t expect what it was like, but it was really good for Sake!!!
You should try!!!

We stayed there more than 3 hours.
We had a really good Bounenkai!!

ONE OF MY CO-WORKERS....

(2011-12-26)
One of workers of my company passed away.
He was only 52year-old.
He worked at a factory in Fukuchiyama.
When I worked at a factory in Osaka, I knew him.
We have never worked together but we talked a lot.
He was very funny and was a straight-talker.

I heard he has blacked out at the factory.
His co-workers called an ambulance, but when they arrived at the hospital, he has already died.

After I heard the bad news, I remembered many things about him.
I miss him…

By the way, the number of workers of my company is about 600.
And one worker dies for one year.
I think it is too many….
Don’t you think so??

I HATE...

(2011-12-21)
Do you have someone whom you don’t like?

I do.

I don’t like a guy. I want to call him Dragon.
He works at our office and our section.

The reason what I don’t like him is ….too many.
Disheveled.
Being gluttonous.
Asking everything before he thinks….
I need thousands of fingers….

He will leave our office next year!!!
I am very very happy!!!

Last Monday, we had a farewell party at Izakaya, Koboke.
They have some reasonable party menus.
Our course is only 4500yen include drink.
Their food was good but their drink was excellent.
We drank Smirnoff.
It was vodka based drink.
It was sweet and tasty. I really liked it!!!
They have good Shochu, too.

I was really satisfied because Dragon would leave and I could drink good Sake!!!

Fresh recruits

(2011-12-20)
Last Wednesday, three students visited our factory.
They will join in our company nest year.

One guy lives in Hiroshima and the other guys live in Chiba.

I met them at Kyoto Station around noon and headed to the factory in Fukuchiyama.

The tour of the factory was not so long. It was about 1 hour.
Fresh recruits of this year guided the factory.
Their guide was a little pore but I could feel their spirits.

Afterwards, we had a little party.
We introduced each other.
I think the party was failing…
Because we ate traditional Japanese food at a traditional Japanese restaurant.
They seemed they were really nervous.

I really like them.
I am really happy that I will work with them soon.

Don’t you think, “Why Kanda????”

My image of Kanda is just used book shops.

My friend wanted to eat a fruit omelet at MANSO in Kanda.
Since she saw the fruit omelet on TV show, she has wished to go to eat it.
And finally, the dream came true.

The café wasn’t crowded, so we could have seats soon.
We ordered the fruit omelet and their specialty, pancakes.

The omelet was very delicate.
My friend cut it, but she couldn’t pick it up by a fork and a knife.
When you eat it, you need a spoon.
It was really sweet.
The pancakes were sweet, too.
The surface of the pancakes was crispy and the inside of them were like a sponge.
They were good… but….they weren’t my favorite tastes….

TRIP TO TOKYO -12/3- 2

(2011-12-18)
We headed to Ginza because I wanted to go to antique shops.
At Ginza, we found The Tokyo Police Museum.
It seemed very interesting, so we visited there.
We could see from the first floor to the forth floor.
We didn’t want to see all of them, so we decided looking at the forth floor.
It was very interesting.
We could see each police mark of all of the prefectures, items of crime lab, fake brand-name products, etc.
I felt I watched TV show.

Afterwards, we went to the antique shops but I couldn’t see enough, because my friend wasn’t interested in those goods.

We left there soon, looked around Ginza, and headed to Kanda.

TRIP TO TOKYO -12/3-1-

(2011-12-17)
December 3rd.
We woke up really early.
When I woke up, it was raining.
Do you think we were unlucky?
I don’t think so.
The weather forecast said it might be rain on 2nd and 3rd, but it wasn’t raining on 2nd.

We didn’t have anything todo, so we went to buy breakfast to a convenience store, ate it in a room.

My friend wanted to reserve Kabuki tickets.
It started at 10:00A.M., so she called to a ticket center on time.
Luckily, a call was connected soon. I guess she got good seats.

We checked out and headed to a station.
At the station, I looked for my wallet but I couldn’t find it.
I left it at the hotel.
I had to get back to the hotel.
I felt really tired..

TOKYO DISNEYLAND -12/2 -7-

(2011-12-12)
When we realized, the closing time was in a several minutes.
We were really surprised because we didn’t feel we stayed there such long time.
We rushed to souvenir shops, bought some souvenirs, and left there.

We got on a bus and a train, and arrived at a hotel in a midnight.

This time, we stayed at the Hotel East 21.

We booked this trip at JR Tokai. They had a really good plan, ‘Tokyo bookmark’.
It was really reasonable.
The price was only 25000yen include Shinkansen and the hotel.

The hotel was inexpensive but it was a good hotel.
I was really tired, so after I took a bath, I fell in a sleep soon.

We got hungry, so we ate dinner.
We could see many X’mas fantastic menus and we chose one of them.
These are my dinner.
The reason that I chose it was that I just wanted to take a picture of a Santa Claus cake.
It is cute, isn’t it?

While we ate the dinner, the second electrical parade started.
We could see it through the windows.
Our seats were located at the very good position.
We could see it very well.

But I wanted to see it better, so we left the restaurant and approached to the parade.
I could see the floats and the castle together.
It was very fantastic.

I don’t usually see the electrical parade, but I realized that watching the parade was really good.

TOKYO DISNEYLAND -12/2-5-

(2011-12-10)
After we enjoyed Mickey's PhilharMagic, we saw some attractions.
As I said, Disneyland wasn’t so crowded.
So, we saw PETER PAN, Pinocchio, etc.
We also looked for souvenirs to our friends.
The attractions weren’t crowded but the souvenir shops were really crowded.
I didn’t have enough energy, so I just walked through the souvenir shops.

The firework show started at 7:50P.M.

I went to Tokyo Disneyland many times, but I have never seen the firework show before.

The outside was too cold, but the fireworks were really beautiful.
The good thing was that the show wasn’t so long.
Before we got tired, it finished.
Tokyo Disneyland knows the good timing.

At 5:15P.M., the electrical parade started.
It was earlier as usual.

I often go to Tokyo Disneyland but I haven’t seen it for while.
The number of the audiences was not too much, so we could see it very well.

It was really beautiful.
We could see many colorful and shining floats, and cute Disney characters.
This parade brought me to a dream world.
We waved to them our hands.

The outside was still cold but it was not colder than the time when we had seen the parade.
I don’t know why but it was a good sign.

Afterwards, we rushed the new attraction, Mickey's PhilharMagic.
I have already seen it before, but my friend wanted to see it.

The last time, when I saw it, I felt it was boring.
But this time, I really enjoyed it.
I guess the reason why, I really liked the former attraction, Mickey Mouse Review, so last time I saw the new one, I felt boring.
This time, I already thought it was bored, so I felt it wasn’t bored.

Afterwards, we went to several attractions.
The Haunted Mansion and Country Bear Theater have held special Christmas programs.
Of course, we visited both.
We could see the characters of Nightmare before Christmas.
I heard this program is only seen in Tokyo Disneyland. The other Disneylands have not held this program.

My friend has not visited Tokyo Disneyland in 10 years.
So, she seemed really enjoying.
She visited some attractions aggressively.

We took a break at Eastside Café.
They had a special Christmas menu for dinner but it was too early to eat dinner, so we just ate a cake.
The outside was really cold, so hot tea made me happy.
Unfortunately, their tea was not so good, but their cake was good.

TOKYO DISNEYLAND -12/2-2

(2011-12-07)
First, we went to get a FastPass.
But 2:00P.M. was too late to get the FastPass.
We walked around the Disneyland, so we listened to an announcement of the Parade.

We had nothing to do until the parade, so we waited for the parade along the parade route.
It was really really cold. 20 minutes felt me like 2 hours.

Anyway, the parade started.
It was a Christmas parade. So, any Disney characters wore Christmas costumes, really cute.
We sang Christmas songs, and danced together.
It was really cold, so dancing with them made me hot.

I went to Tokyo Disneyland again.
This time, I got some special JCB tickets.
It means I can join JCB special event.

I got a day off on Friday, met my friend at Shin-Osaka Station, and arrived at Tokyo station around 12:30.

We had enough time, so stopped at some shops at the station.
We arrived at Maihama Station around 1:30P.M.
JCB tickets were permitted to enter Disneyland from 2:00P.M.
Many people were waiting at the entrance.
We also lined up.
The line seemed really long, but we could enter soon.

The entrance decoration was not usual.
We could see many Christmas decorations there.
A flower Mickey wore a Santa hat.
We went into a dream world.

A NEW FRIEND

I had an interview with a contingent worker a few weeks ago.

I don’t know why, but when I realized we were talking about ‘drink’.
Afterwards, we promised that we would go to drink together.

Last week, we went to drink.

She selected some restaurants. I chose one of them but it has not opened.
We didn’t know the restaurant was bankrupt or just closed.
Anyway, we chose another restaurant.

The restaurant was located at

She sometimes went to this restaurant, so I asked her to order.

She said their raw ham was good, so we ordered.
We also ordered sparkling wine and started to drink and eat.
Antipasto was a pretty big…
All of them were really good for wine.
We drank up the first one soon.

R0013178.jpg

We were talking about our family and our co-workers.
Surprisingly, her sister lives in Colorado.
She said she sometimes visited her.
We said U.S. was really far from Japan…

We complained about our co-workers and our jobs, and reduced our stress.
We said too much drinking was bad, but drinking was good for our lives.

We drank several glasses and stayed there more than three hours.
I thought I had a good new friend.
